NeuroTech Insights Advisory Board: Tommy Golczynski
Sports + Science + Data = Better Health Outcomes
Tommy Golczynski has been named to the Commercial Advisory Board for NeuroTech Insights, the entity formed from the recent merger of SportGait and Heads Together Health (HTH).
Alongside several former NFL players, athletes, and scientists (as well as a collaboration with TBRx), the role will assist NeuroTech in their efforts to revolutionize the landscape of neurofunctional health with cutting-edge, AI-driven approach to prehabilitation and recovery.
"It’s not just about getting athletes back on the field—it’s about making sure they’re fully recovered and safe when they return” — Luke Kuechly.
What is Neurofunctional Health?
Neurofunctional health refers to the functioning of the nervous system, particularly the brain, spinal cord, and peripheral nerves. Disorders and impairments (such as concussion, backpain, Parkinson’s disease and others) can influence cognitive, emotional, sensory, and motor functions.
By leveraging the power of the precise and validated SportGait assessments and the comprehensive treatment solutions and AI insights of Heads Together Health, NeuroTech Insights is the premier solution for all stakeholders throughout the patient journey.
Sports Impact
Former NFL players Luke Kuechly and Merril Hoge have joined NeuroTech Insights as Special Advisors, bringing their firsthand experience and advocacy for brain health and concussion awareness to the organization. Their expertise will help shape the company’s vision and expand its impact in the sports and medical communities.
"The most important aspect of neurofunctional condition management is care—comprehensive, structured care that ensures proper identification, evaluation, and recovery before return. If you execute those steps correctly, you create the safest environment possible - not just in sports, but in all aspects of life. Too often, the focus shifts to other areas, but at its core, it all comes back to care. That’s why NeuroTech Insights is so critical - it provides the most comprehensive solution by integrating advanced assessments, remote monitoring, and AI-driven treatment plans, ensuring every step of the recovery process is backed by science and tailored for the individual."— Merril Hoge.

What’s Next
As always, we will keep you posted on the advances and data-driven insights that arise from this role. For anyone looking after aging parents, competitive (and injury-prone) children, or simply keen to take better care of their own health / recovery, the NeuroTech Insights platform brings the best from health, sports, and science together.
When I had my last concussion 2 years ago, the recovery time was long, and a real fear of lasting consequences finally set in. Especially for the generation that grew up without helmets when we skied/biked, played tackle football too close to the pavement, and had a general disregard for anything ‘safety-related’, advancements in understanding brain health will lead to better quality of life outcomes. For ourselves, for our parents, and for our kids. That is why the role with NeuroTech Insights and their mission matters. Plus, if you told 12-year-old-me that I could have a job working in sports and science, I wouldn’t have believed you…but I would have said yes!
